This is an EASY 100 STAR review. I initially called them asking if they did fried Mars bars and low and behold...they did. I knew they were closing at 9pm so rushed their. We arrived there at 8:20pm and they super kindly reminded us that they close at 9pm. The place is clean and tidy and the customer service is amazing. They are pleasant, vibrant and EXTREMELY polite. Now with the food!!!! Hands down the BEST fish and chips place in London. I've been to many fish and chip places and the food in this one is DELICIOUS. Their food is clean, perfectly battered, tasty and generous. The batter is golden and crispy the chips are cooked to perfection and there was no aftertaste at all. The food was not oily at all. The food was just bliss! Even their chicken pie was lovely. After that we ordered a deep fried Mars Bar. Again delicious. Anyway we ended up staying 15mins after closing and they were so nice about it (please do not take this as an invitation to rock up there and stay as long as you like..they're such nice people). I added some pictures. Although it wont do any justice to the food...just know and trust when I say that Whistle Stop have one of the best local fish and chips in London I've ever had including the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE experienced. I will be back!
